I was in Bangalore, India sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2006; and had the opportunity to visit 2 great companies in IT outsourcing work namely INFOSYS and WIPRO. These 2 companies are giants so to speak in the area of outsourcing and consultancy...many of their clients are from the States and Europe. Talking about globalisation and business.....they are excellent examples where the world is indeed a market place for them. Along a particular corridor of one of the companies ( maybe WIPRO, I forgot which ! ) is a nice quotation on what lies beneath the hat. How true. I also read somewhere that we only utilised about 2 or 3 percent of the brain.....the rest being untapped. Well, this of course brings up the matter of "thinking outside the box", creativity, innovation, thinking through etc etc....and having said that, we now must take that journey and explore more the underdeveloped territory in and within us.
