Tomorrow , 26th January 2009 we will be ushering in the Year of the Ox or Buffalo ( also can ) according to the Chinese zodiac. Some people do believe, we can somehow be able to profile people with the animals. I was born in the year of the Ox...no kidding, the year was 1949. As a summary, people born in the year of the Ox tend to exhibit the following characteristics ( by the way, I tend to list the positive ones here..):
- strong, diligent, patient like the ox-the beast of burden
- born leader, inspire confidence in others, sometimes essentric, can be demanding
- don't make him/her angry or you cannot predict the outcome !
- quite eloquent, easy going but can be remarkably stubborn too
- hate to fail or oppose
- methodical, good with hands
- quick thinking
So, what is my verdict ? This I have to leave it to my friends to decide. For me, I am just me. And by the way, Barack Obama and Margaret Thatcher are both in the year of the OX Club. But then again, according to the Chinese, we have at least 5 types of buffaloes/oxen, namely.....the metal ox, the water ox, the wood ox, the fire ox and the earth ox. And this is no bull !
