the guide told us that the lioness is perhaps old.....)
seconds stopped momentarily and "forgot" why they ran in the first place. They turn around

Recently I spent 3 days in Kenya and managed to squeeze in about 3 hours at the Nairobi National Park......apparently the only safari park of its kind to be situated close to any capital city. Indeed, the guide informed us that the park's neighbours include the airport and residential areas. Animal sightings include giraffes, a lioness chasing a stray antelope I think, the secretary bird, some kind of eagles, hogs, antelopes or gazelles, a rhino in the distance, herds of deers ( or deer-like animals ), a pair of zebras, stocks, and many species of birds. Entrance to the park was US60 per pax to get in with your rented semi open top van ( separate cost ) and an experience driver who maintains contact with other drivers in the park on animal sightings via the mobile phone. Overall, it was a good experience and for a mere 3 hours, it was worth it for the first experience in the wild !
