16th March, 2007 and believe me I was on the way to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and I got a picture to proof it ! Guess what ? The Airbus flight was so full that I only managed to get a seat on top the starboard wing. If I am not mistaken I flew on Qatar Airways via Doha to Riyadh. Transit time at Doha was about 4 plus hours. Nowadays we find most middle eastern airlines are always difficult to book seats if you are late in making reservations as I found out. Therefore it was justified that I got the seat where 90 percent of the view was the starboard wing. I also believe that come June through August seats on most airlines plying the arab states to South East Asia will be filled to capacity; due to the summer migration of arab tourists to our part of the world. We better be ready for them !
