- The Guide informed us , the population of Vietnam is 85 million, number of scooters and motorcycles around 50 million ! And during our stay in Hanoi ( mid December ). the weather is fine, rather cool but dusty ( no rain ? )....and people, so many people, motorcycles and scooters ! I must declare I won't be able to drive here...never , even if someone is offering me a thousand bucks. I supposed one must have tons of patience and patience : here are some images of Hanoi........and Ha Long Bay, a 3.5 hrs road ride to the north of Hanoi.
